Nanoindentation Studies on Shape Memory Alloys GaN Waveguide Structure

This paper discuses the use of “instrumented” nanoindentaion to find mechanical properties of materials, as well as some of the components and calibration methods for the indenter. The nanoindenter was used to collect data of NiTiFe with different compositions of Fe in them. The data was then analyzed to find the mechanical of the alloy.
