International Program Information
The International REU Supplement to the Domestic REU Site at the Advanced Materials Processing and Analysis Center (AMPAC) at the University of Central Florida will expose four (4) undergraduate students (2 USA, 2 Polish) per year for 8-10 weeks of research and other educational experiences in nanotechnology. The USA students will go to Warsaw University for nanotechnology research.
A primary emphasis of these programs will be on encouraging talented undergraduate students, in particular women, minorities and persons with disabilities, to pursue graduate studies in the field of nanoscience and engineering. The program will conclude with a poster session in which the International REU students will present their research results. The REU site will track the career progress of former participants.
